My Bio
Mark Allen is an independent wedding and portrait photographer based in Banff, Alberta. Over an 8 year period, Mark has been a prominent photographer in the Bow Valley.
In addition to maintaining a tight shooting schedule, Mark conducts photography workshops and works for other photographers doing their post-production work.
Allen is a Toronto native, born in North York and a graduate of the University of Victoria Bsc. He has worked for the likes of Steve Carty and Graham Twomey and on assignment for many celebrity photoshoots.
Mark shoots exclusively with Canon cameras and lenses.

Just finished quick composite, lots of fun doing whatever comes to my mind. My mind doesn't mind.
Talked with a couple of models today about doing some more serious shoots. The kinda stuff that really messes with peoples sense of morality.
Like watching a car accident or a house fire with nothing that you can do about it; so you just stare.
Ask yourself if you are turned on? Or more likely have never experienced anything like this, because if you have never eaten a potato, a french fry is to die for.

I can't believe that with all the shit going on that I can't get time to do image editing. I love working in PS. It is my zen time.
When you have to deal with editors, designers, hairdressers, stylists, make-up artists and now other fucking douche bag photographers whining and complaining to the town about no business license.
These fuck wits would do better to put up or shut up. If they can't get business, that would be who's fault. Not, I say, not mine.
I need some alone time to finish the art I start. I am going to die otherwise.
